11. Child Safety Standards
Relate-360 (“Relate”) · Last updated 13 October 2026
Relate-360 has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE).
Content or conduct that sexualises, exploits, or endangers a minor is prohibited on Relate-360 without exception, and we remove it, terminate the accounts responsible, and report it to the appropriate authorities.
Who these standards apply to
These standards apply to everyone who uses Relate-360 (“Relate”), on every surface of the service: posts, comments, private circles, direct and group chat, voice notes, profile information, family tree entries, and any other content a person creates, uploads, or transmits through the app.
They apply equally to private spaces. Relate-360 is built around private circles, and the fact that a circle is private does not place its contents outside these standards.
What is prohibited
The following are prohibited on Relate-360 and are grounds for immediate account termination:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM): any visual depiction of sexually explicit conduct involving a minor, in any format, including photographs, video, audio, illustrations, computer-generated or AI-generated imagery.
- Sexualisation of minors: content that depicts, describes, or presents a minor in a sexualised manner, including non-explicit imagery shared for the purpose of sexual gratification.
- Grooming: building a relationship or trust with a minor in order to sexually exploit or abuse them, including attempts to move a minor to another platform or to private communication for that purpose.
- Sextortion: threatening to expose intimate imagery of a minor in order to obtain further imagery, money, or any other benefit.
- Solicitation: requesting sexual content from a minor, offering or requesting CSAM, or advertising its availability.
- Trafficking and facilitation: recruiting, advertising, or facilitating the sexual exploitation or trafficking of a minor.
- Normalisation or promotion: content that advocates for, glorifies, or seeks to normalise the sexual abuse or exploitation of minors.
A minor is any person under the age of 18, regardless of the age of consent in any jurisdiction, and regardless of what age an account claims.
How we reduce risk
These controls are built into the product, not applied after the fact:
- Private by design. Relate-360 has no public feed and no follower graph. Content is shared into circles whose membership is controlled by the people in them, which removes the open discovery surface that strangers rely on to find and contact children.
- Guardian supervision. Accounts belonging to younger family members are linked to a parent or guardian, who can review activity and act on it. A supervised young person also has a direct route to raise a concern about their guardian’s oversight, which is routed to our safety team and never to the guardian.
- Age-aware restrictions. Features that are inappropriate for younger accounts are gated on confirmed adult status, and fail closed: an account whose age has not been resolved is treated as a minor, not as an adult.
- Blocking. Any person can block another, which severs contact between the accounts.
- Encrypted media handling. Media is encrypted in transit and at rest, and is retrievable only by members of the circle it was shared into.
How to report child safety concerns
In the app
Every post, comment, profile, and circle in Relate-360 carries a report action. The reporting form offers dedicated reasons for child safety concerns, including:
- Child Exploitation: content sexualising minors
- Grooming: building trust with a child to exploit them
- Asking for Personal Info: requesting private or personal information
- Explicit Sexual Content: pornographic or sexually explicit material
Child safety reports are classified as critical and are escalated directly to our Trust & Safety team. They are deliberately not resolvable by a circle administrator, because the person being reported may be that administrator. No circle owner can dismiss, close, or suppress a child safety report about their own circle.
By email
Anyone may report a child safety concern to us directly, whether or not they use Relate-360 and whether or not they have an account:
Child Safety Team · Relate-360
support@ntconnect.com
We aim to acknowledge reports within one business day and to action credible CSAE reports immediately on receipt.
Emergencies
If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. In the United States, suspected child sexual exploitation can also be reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children’s CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org or 1-800-843-5678.
How we respond
When we identify or receive a credible report of CSAE, we:
- Remove the content from the service.
- Terminate the accounts responsible, and act to prevent the same person returning.
- Preserve the relevant evidence and associated account records as required by law, so that investigating authorities can act on them.
- Report to the appropriate authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) in the United States and the equivalent body in other jurisdictions where we are required to do so.
- Cooperate with law enforcement in response to valid legal process.
Enforcement for CSAE is not graduated. There is no warning step and no strike system: a confirmed violation results in removal and termination.
Our compliance commitments
- We comply with applicable child safety laws in the jurisdictions where Relate-360 is available, including our reporting obligations regarding apparent child sexual abuse material.
- We maintain a designated child safety point of contact, published above, reachable by any member of the public.
- We review these standards regularly and update them as our product, our obligations, and recognised best practice change.
- We comply with Google Play’s Child Safety Standards policy and with the child safety requirements of every platform we distribute through.
These standards are published by NT Connect for Relate-360 (“Relate”). For how we handle personal data, see sections 0 to 10 of this Privacy Policy above.
